Summary: Well, all I did was run round and round in circles not having any idea what to do. No matter how long I played it, I never could figure out what I was supposed to do or how I was supposed to do it. Most games give you hints and tips on what to do after you've flailed around for so long.
Summary: I cannot argue that this port is not what it's cracked up to be, for most users that is. I'm fortunate enough to be playing on an iPhone 6+ and the controls work better here than I would imagine on an iPad or other device.
Summary: If you don't have any way to play this on the PC, or at least on a console, then maybe this is playable for you, but I'm not sure. It's clumsy, laggy, but at the end of the day, it's still the wonderful place and story. So buyer beware.
Summary: The iOS port isn't a catastrophe, it's just extremely impractical. The graphics are below the minimum settings in the computer edition and the controls are a mess without a keyboard/mouse. I commend 2K China's Xcom Enemy Unknown, but that was the exception, not the rule.
Summary: Pretty standard FPS fare, little more than a watered-down (pun intended) System Shock 2, a visually outstanding but with an all too familiar story (Atlas is Polito, Fontaine is Shodan) and gameplay (security stations, turrets, cameras, Vita Chambers Quantum Bio Reconstruction Machines, etc.
Summary: This game was in a couple of top 10 best horror games, so I thought I'd check it out. It's not what I expected, it's impossible to go throughout the game without getting hit or losing health. Enemies are really hard and there isn't enough ammo for what you have to accomplish in the game.
Summary: Bioshock on PS3 gets a 3 star review from me only for the purpose of making it clear that this is an inferior looking version to the Xbox 360 one. The PS3 version is far too clinical looking compared to the 360 version. Early ports on PS3 were always hampered by trying to get to terms with the Cell.
Summary: At the risk of going against the grain, I wasn't overly impressed with this game. Don't get me wrong, it is good, I just don't see what the fuss is about. There are many other games that I would say are better than this one.
Summary: You have to ask yourself the question, is this game worth buying soo long after it had been released for the Xbox 360? Well i can tell you that i bought this game with the preconceived vision that I'd be subjected to an engrossing story accompanied with awesome graphics and game play.
