Summary: This game was in a couple of top 10 best horror games, so I thought I'd check it out. It's not what I expected, it's impossible to go throughout the game without getting hit or losing health. Enemies are really hard and there isn't enough ammo for what you have to accomplish in the game. There aren't many good things to say about the game other than it's a great concept for a game. It just doesn't work for me as a first person shooter/RPG.
Summary: After hearing that this game was a gift from the gods bestowed upon the mud-caked humanity meant to bring forth from their ignorance into a golden age of enlightenment, I became skeptical. Still, since everyone not speaking to me through the lens of a magazine still raved about it, I plunked my dollars down to see what all the damn fuss was about. Now, after playing Bioshock, I can say that I honestly did not expect the game to be so powerfully mediocre.
Summary: At the risk of going against the grain, I wasn't overly impressed with this game. Don't get me wrong, it is good, I just don't see what the fuss is about. There are many other games that I would say are better than this one. I may be a little biased as I have never really been a fan of first person shooters so the fact that I like this at all is a minor miracle.
Excerpt: "... And this is what sets Bioshock apart from the other first person shooters out there - moral choice. The problem is, there are no incentives or punishments for either course of action until the final cutscene, by which point it doesn't really matter. And it's all so black and white - you're either hailed as ...
Pros: Good graphics, atmospheric sound
Cons: No replay value, not half as clever as it pretends to be
Summary: You have to ask yourself the question, is this game worth buying soo long after it had been released for the Xbox 360? Well i can tell you that i bought this game with the preconceived vision that I'd be subjected to an engrossing story accompanied with awesome graphics and game play. This was in fact the case, however i found myself trawling through the game rather than really getting into it.
