Summary: Got this for 2.99 on STEAM sale... I was a big fan of Bionic Commando for the NES (how long can you last starting a fight in the demilitarized zone?) and rearmed. I heard this game sucked so I never played it. However, It's a solid action platformer, reminds me a lot of Batman mixed with Darksiders.
Summary: Well, it wasn't perfect, but it was still a good time (especially considering how little you have to spend to get a copy these days). The gunplay isn't as satisfying as with many games, but the bionic arm gimmick more than makes up for it.
Summary: I am a big fan of bionic commando. This game has an awesome storyline, but this game is meant for today's game player. The controls are hard to manipulate and the camera keeps turning when you dont need it too. If you are an older video gamer, stay away from this game.
Summary: I'm from the old school so I remember when Bionic Commando was a flat, left-to-right action game. But this is pretty cool nevertheless. Younger gamers will probably fly right through it with ease.
Summary: Granted I have not completed this game yet, I am about halfway there. I actually can only take so much at a time because it takes alot of concentration and trial end error with the grappling arm, so I work on the game in blocks.
Summary: Challenging because of the number of skills you have. The only thing is that the mechanics of some of the skills feel a bit too rough. The grapple claw is the main one, and you use it a lot. Its not bad where it becomes a big problem, but you might die occasionally from it.
Summary: The most fun I had in a long while. This game offers an interesting game mechanic that will have you hooked for the whole duration of it. The combination of shooting, swinging and fighting is perfectly balanced and never becomes dull or boring.
