Summary: Not being a sports fan in any way I wasn't sure if buying this game would be a waste of money. I was glad I was wrong. Don't be put off by 2008 in its title - I've just bought it now (December 2010) and it looks great and is great fun.
Summary: Having purchased the PS3 recently, this was the first game i bought, it takes a little getting used to and can give u a wrist ache lol.. good fun though, if you like competative games then this is the game for you.
Worth the Blisters? Nobody said performing in the Olympics was easy!

Summary: I believe this this is a great game. For the £10 it is currently going for i think it represents excellent value for money as there are just so many different events! Are these events good? The short answer is mostly yes.
Excerpt: Even though I am a big fan of the Olympics I didn't really want to buy this game. That is until I played it at a friends house. Even then I still didn't really want to buy it, but the more I thought about it the more I wanted to get it. So I did. The career mode is quite fun to play through.
Summary: Again there is an official Olympic game to go with the sporting event and again they have impressed. Athens 2004 was the golden moment of the olympic games and i didn't expect it Beijing 2008 to top it. I was right Athens 2004 is better overall however Beijing 2008 does have a few advantages.
