Bayonetta: Adventures in ludicrousness, fan service and over-the-top fun.

ablegamers.com

  • Excerpt: This title we have here is directed by Hideki Kamiya the creator of “Devil May Cry” and has many similarities to the series. Bayonetta falls into the category of action based games and certainly has plenty of action to around. With the addition of a few options this game is probably one of the most accessible mainstream console games of 2010 even with only the first month having come to pass.

The Shadow Remains Cast

TotalPlayStation.com
3 February 2010
  • Conclusion: This is not the purest version of Bayonetta . It is a massively improved take on the 360 version, however, and given the option between "only" getting to play this game and missing out entirely, there's really only one option: BUY. IT.

Bayonetta Review

GamerNode
23 January 2010
  • Excerpt: Many gamers, myself included, prefer the Devil May Cry series to the God of War series. While Kratos has more epic adventures and more violent kill moves, Dante and company provide a ultra-cool, combo-heavy experiences that just suck us in game after game. Plus it draws inspiration from The Divine Comedy, so it earns bonus points.

  • Excerpt: When the world is threatened by an immeasurable darkness, one curvaceous, leather-clad super-babe will step forward, ready to fight for a better tomorrow. On her journey through hell and back, she’ll run across walls and the sides of buildings as if gravity was not an issue. She’ll leap around her environment, using monsters as stepping stones, to attack from the air. She’ll use weapons – and most often her fists – to combat a cornucopia of carnivorous creatures.
