Summary: Battlefield: Bad Company 2 took everything that made the Battlefield series great, and threw it out the door. Maps are smaller, fewer classes, NO PLANES, etc. The creators tried to pride themselves on making it realistic, examples being gravity effects everything, destructible environments. But apparently it isn't realistic for a sniper to go prone in order to get a good shot.
Summary: I decided to go out and buy this game because I was getting a little bored of black ops I can't believe how many 10/10's this game has gotten. First off the campaign's graphics are that of call of duty 4. and you can just about run & gun the whole campaign There was at least 5 loading screens per mission. I decided to try the multiplayer because that's one of the main reasons I bought it. I got killed from behind about ten or so times.
Summary: bc2 may have the dice logo on it but does not contain the battlefield quality adult gamers are used to. alot of the weapons (mortars, snipers, mines) are no skill noobishness. this game is not a good test of skill, which is great for noobs but boring and not challenging for adult male gamers. the maps are very poor and not up to battlefield quality as well. try the 15$ download battlefield 1943 for ps3 before you by this noobish fail.
Summary: I was quite happy at the game itself and so was my son, he just got his playstation 3 this christmas and he was throughly enjoying playing this game until he read the back of the case... it said that the down-loadable bonus content went expired on december first 2011, bearing in mind that this was december the 25th i was very unhappy and so was my son. I shall be contacting amazon and hoping for a new bonus pack set of codes as these are now useless.
Summary: This game is very average. There was nothing new or exciting during gameplay that stands out. The multiplayer is fun, but nothing beats Battlefield 1942 and the similar titles of the open warfare. BF BC2 is just ok.
Conclusion: Single-player, with the exception of the opening level, is a bland mess. The characters are generic morons. The script is hackneyed and the voice-acting dull. Graphics and gun-play are solid but the real challenge is trying not to fall asleep. Multiplayer is slightly more inspired but nowhere near the polished gem many people would give it credit for. Overall the package is derivative and gets old quickly.
Conclusion: I bought this game a year ago and I'm still playing it so that says something... but what you don't know is that I don't play it for months at a time as I'm so frustrated by the amount of bugs in it!
