Summary: Basically, this is a game series that is churned out once a year, and it shows. Often called soulless and formulaic, the standard Atelier game goes like this: You have THREE years to achieve an overall goal. If you fail to meet that goal, the game restarts with all your EQUIPPED weapons intact. At the time of writing this, I've only played the PS3 Atelier games, so I don't know about the PS2 games. Before even touching this game, play Atelier Meruru.
Summary: I love a good RPG even a good anime RPG. I played Atelier Iris for PS 2 for a short bit and that seemed to have a decent story line. Not sure what happened between that and this game but this game seriously lacks any story line. I put 15 hours into this game when I got it. the only thing I managed to accomplish was travel from my home town and go to the capital and get my adventurers license which enabled me to explore more and run STUPID @SS errands like picking up...
