Summary: I have played the previous games to this title, of which I loved to play, and I was really hoping to get the same experience from this title. Instead, I found that the priority of the game shifted from exploring the world and exterminating monsters to running an alchemy shop and creating items that you may never use. True there are multiple playable characters, but you have to pay them to go out with you to collect ingredients in order to synthesis items.
Summary: The three games before this and the other two, were real fun, but these new Atleier games were not fun, in fact, with the restricted game play and being timed on every thing, this made the game uninteresting.
Summary: Longs story short: This game is for kids or for girls. Gather materials to make something like cooking. Not alot of freedom during game play, all you do is collect material and make sure to finish assign task. Game is also short, meaning if you just focus on task you can finish it that same day. So before getting this think who it is for and is it worth it (would you spend this much money for short game play).
Summary: Although this game states that it supports 1080p on the package, it really only supports 720p. My entire connection is HDCP compliant, and other games that have the "...requires...supporting HDCP" warning on the back display 1080p just fine. I contacted customer support, and they want me to force my Playstation 3 to up-convert the 720p graphics by changing the video setting to only support 1080p. If they wanted to sell a 720p game, that's fine, but don't call it 1080p.
Summary: i've followed and played every game of the atelier series so far, with much enjoyment i might add. i went to go get atelier rorona the day it came out. it disappointed me hard. with the time based system i was always rushed to do things and having to constantly waste four of my days to recover my hit points. it did not create an enjoyable experience for me. sure alching is fun but only when you have the time to enjoy it and do everything you need.
