Summary: I expected to dislike this game. Perhaps due to the negative comments about the title that I have heard from my friends. It is however quite enjoyable with a good storyline, and nice graphics. Sure, it's not as polished as later games in the franchise, and I wasn't particularly fond of the games setting, but overall it was an enjoyable experience. My only REAL regret is that I waited this long to experience it.
Summary: This game might have been good for its time, but I didn't really enjoy it. Objectives are repetitive, but the amount of detail put into the game is amazing. I only finished this game 'cause I was playing AC2 at the same time and I wanted to know the backstory. By the way, this game is more like a prequel to the full Assassin's Creed story; it tells the reformation of the Assassin Order.
Summary: I bought this product along with the second Assassins Creed for my husband for his birthday. I haven't actually played this myself, but my husband says its ok, that he had this game in the past when it first come out. He says the newer one is way better, I belive it is the Assassins Creed Brotherhood, which I plan to get him next.
Summary: Assassin's Creed Is Not My Game Of The Year In Fact As IGN Listed [Assassin's Creed Was One Of The Most Dissapointed Video Games] I Agree Don't Buy It You Should Buy Assassin's Creed II But If You Want To Find Out The Pre-Story Then go Ahead The Reason Why This Is Pretty Bad Is Because Each Time You Complete The Major Assassination's You Have To Hear Ol' Man Al Mudiam Plus The Counter Button Ruins Everything Sure It Helps But It Makes Combat Even More Boring.
Summary: this game was good but i have some pros and cons first lets start with cons:the game is way too repitive all you did was go into the animus and after 10-20 minutes go back out:you can't swim:pros:Good storyline was fun and entertaining:fighting was good too so that's all folks see you next time good bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Summary: If your wanting to get into the AC series, i would DEFINETLY reccomend this game. It has an awesome idea, yet very repetitive. You go to a view point, interrogate a guy, eavesdrop people, pickpocket a guy, kill a person. Thats all you do, every single time. So if your just a guy/girl who wants a game just to kill people, your going to hate this game. The gameplay=Button mashing. All you have to do is press square a bunch of times to kill a person, no stealth at all.
Summary: Ill admit when I first played it I didnt really like it, but after a while it kinda grew on me. The only thing I saw wrong was that it was repetative. Im a big Assassin's Creed fan and Ill still play it just because its Assassin's Creed.
Summary: I actually originally first bought Assassin's Creed II because of the poor and disappointing reviews I read on this one. Well, I have to mostly agree with what I've read. After backtracking from the second game to this one, there is no comparison. The second game moves more fluidly, much better controls, and is a little less repetitive. On the bright side, the story is very interesting and there are some major twists.
