Greatly Improved Sequel but is Control Scheme Takes Time to Get Used to.

Summary: Assassins Creed was a beautiful game to behold and the ideas behind it were downright amazing. However, I never finished it because kept getting me in trouble for moving to fast, random guards would attack me unprovoked. I quickly grew bored of constantly having to walk when I wanted to run, and the long horse rides between towns bored me to death.
Summary: I started playing Assassins Creed 2 about a month ago, and am still not with the story. That's saying something because i play video games at least an hour a day. This is a HUGE game with lots Of stuff to do. From renovating your uncles villa, to thrilling and responsive combat, to a free run mechanic that is the best I've seen, this game is a ton of fun. The characters are fantastic, and the voice acting is pretty high quality stuff.
Summary: I was expecting it to be very different from AC1 but it's fairly similar, just improved overall. At least the guards in AC2 don't follow you from across the city. If you run away or kill a group of them, the entire universe won't know about it and you can escape easily. I just finished RDR before playing AC2, and the horse controls here just feel horrible now.
