Assassins Creed 2: A Major Must Have
30 April 2011
Summary: I started playing Assassins Creed 2 about a month ago, and am still not with the story. That's saying something because i play video games at least an hour a day. This is a HUGE game with lots Of stuff to do. From renovating your uncles villa, to thrilling and responsive combat, to a free run mechanic that is the best I've seen, this game is a ton of fun. The characters are fantastic, and the voice acting is pretty high quality stuff.
Summary: I was expecting it to be very different from AC1 but it's fairly similar, just improved overall. At least the guards in AC2 don't follow you from across the city. If you run away or kill a group of them, the entire universe won't know about it and you can escape easily. I just finished RDR before playing AC2, and the horse controls here just feel horrible now.
Summary: Assassin's Creed II was embarrassingly addictive right from when I first started playing it. I ended up 100% the game's weapons, armors, treasures, feathers, assassinations, beat up, races, and platinum trophied this game. Fun 5/5, Overall 4/5 since its a little repetitive still...but muuuch better than AC1. Pros: Combat is extremely fun and can be often funny when guards run from you out of fear lol.
Summary: Two qualities really stand out when I think about my experience playing through Assassin's Creed II. First off, it is an absolutely beautiful game. And secondly, it was EXTREMELY fun to play. Right off the bat, this game was visually breathtaking. You begin the main part of the gameplay in Renaissance-era Florence, Italy and all your surroundings are just bursting with energy and detail. Ubisoft did a great job recreating this time and place and bringing it to life.
Greatly Improved Sequel but is Control Scheme Takes Time to Get Used to.

Summary: Assassins Creed was a beautiful game to behold and the ideas behind it were downright amazing. However, I never finished it because kept getting me in trouble for moving to fast, random guards would attack me unprovoked. I quickly grew bored of constantly having to walk when I wanted to run, and the long horse rides between towns bored me to death.
Summary: I have been looking forward to this release for a long time. While I was a fan of the first Assassin's Creed, the original game felt sort of unfinished. The concept was there, but the game felt like it hadn't been fully fleshed out. The game was beautiful but repetitive, fun overall, but you can only pickpocket or eavesdrop on someone so many times before it gets boring. This game fixes many of those issues.
Summary: Fans of the previous game will be very impressed with Assassin's Creed II. I must say that the previous game was quite disappointing. I felt it had a lot of potential as a game but the repetitive gameplay and frame-rate issues made it a big let down. This time though things have changed drastically for the good. I have yet to complete the game but have played enough to formulate a review. The first thing you'll notice is that the game has a very cinematic feel.
Summary: this game is much better than AC1 for many reasons. mostly because you can but new armor, weapons, clothes and much more. the storyline is long so i really like that. All the characters are really detailed making the realistic point of the game even better. The ending of each assassins creed so far has been really random! i mean wats with the aliens creating us and the sun killing us all?? I guess it makes the storyline more complex so i understand all of that.
Summary: i liked the first assassins creed , but after playing this one i now love it. The story is very interesting and keeps you entertained from beginning to end. This time around you are still desmond miles who uses the amis machine to travel back and see his ancestors past. You encouter many cool moments in the game like riding a carriage of horses, and using double edged blades to assassinate foes to name a few. The graphics are very detailed and look great.
