Excerpt: Introduction I like to play cricket but I had not played a cricket game in till I went round a friends a house. I played ashes cricket and I loved it. So I bought it soon after. Features As you can guess you bat and field.
Summary: I'll be brief. Bowling - Bowling is good, field editor is good, variation is good. I've just bowled Australia out for 239. Excellent you say. NO I say ! The batting AI is nonsense. I did it in 18 overs on the first day averaging 19 per over.
Summary: Being a cricket fan I have been waiting anxiously for a fun and good cricket game to come out on the PS3, especially after having enjoyed playing Brian Lara International Cricket 2007 on the PS2.
Summary: when playing a test series, the game doesnt keep hold of a statistics table such as leading run scorers and most wickets taken..this also includes ODI tournaments. a bit silly having T20 mode for only international teams when it was the english domestic teams that kicked off T20 in the first place.
Summary: EA Sports Cricket 07 was the last game I played on Ps2 and that was a decent 4 star game. It had faults but it looks like a prize winner compared to this game. Thought a Ps3 version was sure to be an improvement. Dint quite turn out like that.
Summary: I think most of the criticisms made have been spot on. On the plus side the batting is OK, as in the way you chose front foot/back foot, type of shot and and where the ball is going. On the down side the AI batters playing test matches like a 20/20 so you get tonked all the time.
