Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel

Auracore MediaWorks
24 April 2013
  • Summary: Good shootin' fun, but watch out for the grenades. And if you can find a real personality between the two main characters, let me know.
  • Pros: Good mindless shooting fun, more realistic cover system, some pretty cool sequences, easy to control, frequent saves and opportunities to upgrade.
  • Cons: AI glitches, lackluster story and characterization, smart enemies keep it too interesting at times, gun customization left a little to be desired.

Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel Review | Takes Two To Tango

newgamernation.com
3 April 2013
  • Conclusion: Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel definitely feels different from its predecessors, and that’s understandable seeing how there are different developers this time.  This means fans of the series may not like this game as much, since it strays from its original formula.  That doesn’t mean it’s a bad game at all; in fact, there are some quirky moments where it even makes fun of itself by pointing out its own flaws, and that’s respectable in its own way.

Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel

impulsegamer
1 April 2013
  • Excerpt: The Devil's Cartel is the third entry into the Army of Two series.  The latest entry features two brand new playable characters, Alpha and Bravo. The story still features Salem and Rios but they are not playable.  EA have made some changes to the game other than the main characters, but the focus is still strongly on co-op.

Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel review

GamesRadar

  • Conclusion: "The carnage is immense." "...the ultimate victory is achieved by arming yourself and your partner to the teeth..." "One of the major disconnects with Army of Two is the intelligence--or lack thereof--of enemies.
  • Pros: Wildly intense firefights, Overkill mode, Co-op works well
  • Cons: Forced, dissonant humor, Dumb enemies, No competitive multiplayer

Army of Two The Devil's Cartel review: All Killer, all filler

CVG
28 March 2013
  • Summary: "Watch those red barrels", says Alpha (or Bravo) to Bravo (or Alpha). "They explode." "They can't all explode", quips Bravo (or Alpha).
  • Pros: Levels are enlivened by Frostbite 2's destruction., Ranking up to kit out weapons is addictive, if well-worn., Customisable masks, tattoos and outfits.
  • Cons: Four operatives, but only two-man co-op?, A seven-hour campaign with nothing to do after., Kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill kill.

“Alpha & Bravo against the Cartel”

evilgamerz.nl
6 September 2013

Army of Two: The Devil´s Cartel

Konzolista.cz
30 June 2013
  • Summary: Army of Two: The Devil´s Cartel rozhodně není špatná hra, na druhé straně to ale ani není hra, kterou byste si museli zahrát za každou cenu. V prospěch ale mluví velmi dobře fungující a atmosférické přestřelky, vychytaný systém krytí, občas dech beroucí atmosféra, akční scény, neotřelé herní lokace a pohledná grafika.

Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel

MeriStation
25 April 2013
