Summary: I don't play a variety of games but AC is one I do play. It was better than I thought after playing it for a while. But if you were a fan of AC3 don't expect the same. The operators are no longer ravens. I don't get designers casual disregard for the history of a game.
Summary: I used to be the type of gamer who would read the instruction booklet from cover to cover on a new game before I even started playing it...but not anymore. As a reviewer I want a game that I can pop in and get right going.
Summary: This review is from someone new to the Armored Core series. This game has some very strong points, but it also has some very weak points. The customization in this game is awesome. Your presented with so many different options and can literally customize any part of you mech. It's great.
Conclusion: this game is suitable for fans of the series and die hard mech geeks! my dislike for the game is personal opinion although i will say you do lose the sense of realism of perspective and mass when you see a giant heavy mech buzzing around the screen faster than a fly.
Conclusion: Most of the time you'll only find that fans of the original games of the series 'Armored Core' tend to bother with the more recent versions, being; Armored Core 4, Armored Core: For Answer and of course Armored Core V.
Summary: Personally I think this game is great. The customisation aspect of the game is enouromous, you can make mechs your own. A lot of planning and very strategic play. The storyline is pretty mediocre.
Summary: I love the visual design of Armored Core, but the gameplay feels very rigid and despite some semi-impressive cut-scenes the voice acting and writing is so weak that you'll wish you hadn't watched it.
