Great game for short lived amusement.

  • Summary: I bought this game for my boyfriend. He did like it and played it constantly for about two weeks. Since then, it's sat in the cabinet, unused..... It was nice entertainment while it lasted.

Did not enjoy

Aaron Hightower, Amazon
29 November 2014
  • Summary: Controls are completely different from previous games. I loved every single game that this series has put out except this one. Armored Core 4 series had some slight changes in controls but were easy to learn and master. This game seems to be solely designed to be played in multiplayer on campaigns.

User Review

  • Summary: For fans of mech games like me this is a great game especially now since the Chromehounds servers have been taken down. There is a great level of customisation and the multiplayer is very fun. The campaign is a bit lackluster.

Too slow, the learning curve is wrong.

Colin S. Martin, Amazon
29 April 2014
  • Summary: From Software has a long history of games with an intense learning curve (dark souls and DS2 are the most recent examples of this) and once you get comfortable with the controls in AC3 and 4, the games open up to you like a perfect rose of rewarding, deep, and complex gameplay.

Great play

Zachary Patchell, Amazon
17 April 2014
  • Summary: I have been following the Armored Core series since the first game came out on the Playstation. I through at least a hundred or so hours into the game and enjoyed it. After the first installment, only Nexus and Armored Core 3 were playable to me, until 5 came out.
