Armored Core V Review

GamerNode
29 April 2012
  • Summary: Armored Core V is a satisfying if familiar game for the mech-fighter inclined, but it’s so pervasively confusing that I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone but the most seasoned fanatic.
  • Pros: Beautiful cinematics, Fun, abundant side missions
  • Cons: Feels aged, Lazy storytelling, Confusing interface

Armored Core 5 Review

G4
30 March 2012
  • Summary: Armored Core V is what people have come to expect of mech-combat games: it's fun, pretty, and provides overall smooth gameplay; however it's nothing groundbreaking and is so impossibly confusing that only hardcore fans will truly enjoy it.
  • Pros: Solid mech gameplay, Every part of your mech is customizable
  • Cons: Uninspired campaign and multiplayer, None of the game makes sense, I'm serious. None of it

Armored Core V

26 March 2012
  • Summary: There are many theories on why mech games died out. The question I have is "why are they coming back now?" Perhaps these two issues are tied closer together than some may think. It’s a matter of innovation, I believe.

Armored Core V PS3

AVForums
25 May 2012
  • Conclusion: At the end of the day, Armored Core will likely go down as one of the dissapointing titles of 2012 and, being honest, it probably should do too.
  • Pros: Smashing cut-scenes, Tonnes of customisation
  • Cons: Confusing 'menu' system, Hollow single player, Should look better, Steeep learning curve

Test : Armored Core V

GameHope
29 April 2012
  • Pros: Personnalisation des méchas., De l'action non-stop.
  • Cons: Franchement moche., Répétitif.

Armored Core V

Gamezoom.NET
23 April 2012
  • Summary: Armored Core 5 enttäuscht durch und durch.
  • Pros: Schwierigkeitsgrad steigt immer weiter an, schicke Mechs, Waffensounds
  • Cons: Menüführung, Story?, Multiplayer?, Atmosphäre?

Armored Core V

Gamereactor
29 March 2012
  • Conclusion: Neon Genesis Evangelion ist schon ein Weilchen her.
