Summary: This entry in the Armored Core series has a power to grip you and make you want to succeed, all while optimizing your own AC for both missions and your own playstyle. Why did I say that? For starters, this is one of those games that, no matter your equipment (we'll assume you're reasonably equipped), you can complete every single mission in the game.
Summary: Despite what some of the other reviewers are saying I haven't had any lag issues in single player mode. The game is extremely hard at times but I believe that is what makes it fun and a good game. It is very fast paced and has amazing customization (main reason why I love it). In order to have a chance at being good at this game you MUST learn every detail about the stats of your mech. With a little patients you can beat it (I did). Ask me for help if you want.
Summary: This is my favorite mech game so far! Its so much faster than other mech games I have played in the past. The game has very fast paced combat action. It can be difficult at times but a game thats to easy wouldn't be very much fun. The extreme customization is awsome! The amount of parts to choose from is quite large but I still wish there were was more to choose from. I had hoped there would be an expansion pack with more parts or at least more missions.
Summary: I haven't been an AC fan until a few years ago when I finally got a PS3 since I missed out on the PS2 and never had a PSX, the first thing I did was track down the series. What I have to say about this game: Amazing. I know how old fans of the series might not like the controls since they are completely different, but you can customize them to fit your liking.
Armored Core: For Answer - Engrish subtitle aside, it's a great game.

Summary: Armored Core is a long running series by FROM Software, often criticized for its lack of change over the years. How accurate this criticism really is likely depends on who you're asking, but to be fair, it is true the basic premise of any AC game is the same: Build a giant robot, blow stuff up for money, use the money to further build your giant robot.
This is a pretty hardcore game (not for everybody)

Summary: The game is almost a simulation than an actual game. It's pretty difficult to master the controller (also I'm an old school PC gamer) and it's taking a lot of time to actually get ok at moving around. Good thing is the auto aiming helps you out quite a bit. It's an excellent game though it takes some time to get into it. Definitely worth the money.
Summary: Well, for all seriousness, i am buying it tomorrow, but i know already what it will be like, i played AC4 and everyone says its better, i thought AC4 was the best, now they make one better? great googa mooga!!! this will be the best game i ever play, and i had no idea it came out last year... WHERE WERE YOU GAME STOP!!! Definately going on an AC Veteran's game list. wait a second, wasn't there something bad about it?

Summary: Chances are that if you are reading this then you have played an Armored Core game sometime in your life and it is equally likely that Armored Core 4 was not your first experience with the series. Armored Core has always been easy to understand, frustrating to learn and difficult to master. But, above all, Armored Core has always been rewarding to play. The core concept of every Armored Core game is basic- take missions, get paid, buy parts and repeat.
Summary: I been playing Armored Core since sony gave birth to PS1. not a hardcore fan, just following my own tradition of games, same goes for ACE COMBAT and RE(Resident Evil) enough with that. 5 stars - I was very stunned after playing this game for about an hour. CUSTOMIZE - Customization of your Mech is very detailed, every aspec of equipment you add to your mech required little though of making sure that its stable.
