Summary: I remember the original Armored Core games, and loved playing the first two, though I hadn't played any of the series since those, until I picked up this game. I figured for $20 it would be worth a shot, and that even if it wouldn't floor me, I'd at least feel OK about getting even brief entertainment from it. This was my first mistake; The $20 price should have been a warning: "Here there be dragons.
Summary: I have read alot of reviews of Armored Core: For Answer and was surprised at all the positive reviews given by magazines and decided to give it a try. After Armored Core 4, I thought the series had truly ended. Having played Armored Core from the very beginning, I feel it is safe to say I have a good understanding of the series as a whole, and I cannot find one positive thing about this game. Here are my primary complaints; Title: Armored Core: For Answer....
Summary: I bought this game for my 12 year old son, and myself. This game is BAD! Graphics are bad. Gameplay is bad. Everything is bad. The pictures shown here on the game details are of the movie sequence, which really looks good. When we saw it come on my son said, "This is gonna be cool!" After giving it a try for about an hour, we havn't picked it up again and will probably trade it. The graphics on most Super Nintendo games look better and it's difficult to play to boot.
Summary: Should not be without a single star review. For one thing ive played 11 games for the ps3 and this game has the worst special effects out of all of them. For those of you new to armed core like i was this game is very unforgiving youv got about 1 mission thats easy to beat to practice the controlls with after that this game gets HARD.
