Not terrible, but forgettable...

Summary: I bought this game used for $25 a few months ago and I played it for maybe a few hours. Months later, I had completely forgotten about it until I saw it as a recommendation. Do not buy it here, as it is $34, which is vastly over-priced. Track it down at Gamestop. Ar Tonelico is not by any means a great game. The graphics and story are decent, but the battles are boring, and the actual gameplay is awkward and tedious. Moving around on the screen is very linear.
Summary: Well, battle system isn't too interesting, game content is kinda odd in Japanese style, some might like it but this game is IMO just perverted and that's why not for all. I mean for example person makes such spell in which she turns someone to cake and her clothes vanish in that process that is kinda we are dealing with here, I can take it as joke tho kinda but seriously not cool...
Summary: I gave it this rateing due to these facts: 2 Stars for it being my favorite Genre (RPG), 1 Star for the Music, 1 Star for game play, and the final for the story line. All-in-all I would recomend this game for those who like interactive story lines and gameplay with building you own weapons and armor and such.
