Excerpt: My first hint that this game was going to be terrible occurred before I even started actually playing it. As I scrolled to Amy on the Playstation Dashboard, a little girl (that I would later come to find out is Amy herself) clung to the shoulder of a young woman and looked absolutely horrified at something. The thing is she didn’t seem to be horrified at the giant evil monster lurking behind her, but rather her eyes were glued on to the logo of the game.
Summary: Ive been watching the gameplay on youtube and to be honest the game control is a disaster but the graphics are insanely good! it makes me wonder if all the budget just went there screw controllers who needs them, meh, you guys are too critical, that game couldve been a good example of how graphics can impact the feel of a game, and the sound was quite eerie!
Summary: I have loved the survival horror genre since Silent Hill 2, but in recent years, its quality started to degrade then it was revived with RE5, L4D, and Dead Space 1 and 2. Then comes Amy, a mixed bundle for a horror game. First off, I heard about this game from a youtube commentator(theRadBrad) and I was curious. So I spend my 800 Microsoft Points on the game which was a bringer to me because most downloadable games were usually 1200 MP.
Summary: [Amy Demo Review - Xbox 360 - 7.5/10] It may not be greatest entry in the survival horror genre, but AMY delivers some solid material at a fraction of the cost of a retail release - the 800 MSP price is even lower than the many downloadable games going for 1200MSP these days. I downloaded the demo for AMY last night; having heard almost nothing of this title up until I saw it on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
Excerpt: Amy is a download only PSN game available at the moment for £7.99. It was a game we had been anticipating after reading a favourable pre-release review in a magazine. It focuses on a young woman named Lana who is looking after a little girl named Amy who seems to be suffering with some sort of autism. It is confirmed early on in the game that Amy is verbally challenged. The game begins with a bit of a mystery.
