Alone in the Dark: Inferno PS3 Review
29 May 2010
Excerpt: To many the 360 version of Alone in the Dark was a disappointment, with control issues being the primary aspect that they found got in the way of their fun. For this PS3 version, Eden Studios have been given a rare second chance, to perhaps make the game that they wanted to the first time round.
Summary: Alone in the Dark returns with a heart-stopping survival experience realized through combining the use of real-time physics and environmental interaction to deliver an exhilarating action-orientated experience within a highly detailed, open environment.
Summary: You know the drill, you are attending your high school reunion and all of a sudden there is a sudden monster outbreak. Final Exam on the PS3 puts you right in the middle of that common scenario.
Excerpt: A great addition to the series that shies away from the mindless killing-fest of other horror games on the market today, yet stays true to the atmospheric horror adventure of its roots. Great to play in the dark – if you dare.
Pros: A well paced horror that has some great visuals, interesting puzzles and edge-of-your-seat action sequences.
Cons: The controls feel a bit awkward at times and there is little replay value once you have completed the game.
Excerpt: Da Eden veio a versão revista de Alone in the Dark.
