Cons: Many levels leave you in murky darkness but the flashlight is some help . Cut scenes at beginning and end of levels gets old but you can skip them .

Summary: Just finished the Campaign mode on Aliens Colonial Marines on PS3. First time I beat this game was on 360 and now that I've played it on both systems, I must say they both have a few bugs in the graphics, 360 flickers more in cut scenes and PS3 doesn't always look as sharp.
Summary: I've played quite a few FPS games over the years and in regards to this particular game, I would rank it somewhere along the lines of FEAR 3. Now although that might be saying something about how cool looking the environment and gaming engine itself is, keep in mind that FEAR 3 was already 3 years...
Summary: Reading a bunch of the reviews here, I can understand some of the ire directed toward "Colonial Marines", and I've been in those shoes more times than I can count...waiting in anticipation for a title...only to have it finally drop...you plunk down your dough....and the game is a complete letdown.

A couple of caveats for me: I only paid $10 for the game, I have the benefit of all the most recent patches that apparently fixed a lot of the issues, and I am a casual fan of the Alien(s) franchise, from the movies to the old AVP on PC...
