Summary: Can be patchy on the graphics and laggy with multiplayer on sometimes on one hand. On the other hand, an awesome and well made campaign that is completely believable and compatible with the movie franchise. If you are an Aliens fan,YOU WILL LOVE THIS GAME.

Summary: Receives some unfair criticism, in my opinion. If you like shooters and you like the Aliens franchise its not a bad play. Couch buddy shooter with some replay value as far as trophies. Not overly hard, but I've played easier.
Summary: I never played the original 'pre-patched' version of the game and I only played the single player campaign. I recently bought it for only $8 but I was still worried that it wouldn't be worth it because of all the bad reviews. It is rather short but so are too many FPSs.
Summary: Do not disconnect your ps3 yet , there is plenty of game play to be had. Four easter eggs are in game . mission one , two ,seven and eight . Also an app $1.99 is available . It gives locations of dog tags and audio logs . Also legendary weapons .
Pros: A satisfying shooter with versatile weapons , you get two DLCs that have an expired code , but no worries they still work . The sonic electronic ball breakers and ripleys pulse rifle are part of the extra content . Co-op is useful if you want to complete the bad as# difficulty level . If you have...
Cons: Many levels leave you in murky darkness but the flashlight is some help . Cut scenes at beginning and end of levels gets old but you can skip them .
Summary: Let me say here that I did not hear about this game until a few months ago(I know, slow right, lol). I heard this game got a lot of bad reviews,so I picked this one up to see for myself to see what all the fuss was about(Before you ask, No, I did not pay full price).
Great for Aliens fans! Good story, lots of fan service and fun gameplay.

Summary: Just finished the Campaign mode on Aliens Colonial Marines on PS3. First time I beat this game was on 360 and now that I've played it on both systems, I must say they both have a few bugs in the graphics, 360 flickers more in cut scenes and PS3 doesn't always look as sharp.
Summary: I've played quite a few FPS games over the years and in regards to this particular game, I would rank it somewhere along the lines of FEAR 3. Now although that might be saying something about how cool looking the environment and gaming engine itself is, keep in mind that FEAR 3 was already 3 years...
Summary: Having just finished the game, I have to say I was satisfied. A couple of caveats for me: I only paid $10 for the game, I have the benefit of all the most recent patches that apparently fixed a lot of the issues, and I am a casual fan of the Alien(s) franchise, from the movies to the old AVP on PC...
