Summary: I don't play that many shooters and in all honesty, playing a shooter on a console game for me is harder than on a PC where you can just rapdily click on anything that comes at you. There are far too many human enemies in this game and they took what was a very minor nuisance in the Aliens franchise (a treacherous Company employee - whether an Android in Alien or Burt in Aliens) and made it the central theme of this game fighting Weyland. The Aliens are almost a subplot.
Good for a fan, but the gameplay could be better - some SPOILERS here

Summary: I like the fact that you get to go back into the story of Aliens and you get a story of what happened between Aliens and Alien 3 on the Sulaco and LV-426. The game play was just ok. The customization of the weapons was a little confusing at times and with as many as you get you should be able to put more than just 2 in the slots. I wish I could have switched between more than just 2 weapons.
Summary: For the price that I paid for it, I think the statue was worth it. It is a very detailed statue, and I think it looks pretty cool sitting on my bookshelf. The game, though, is not that good. It is buggy as heck, and it is less impressive than Aliens Trilogy for the PS1. However, I didn't buy the Collector's Edition for the game, I bought it for the statue...and I paid about $26 (with tax). So, I do not feel ripped off.
Summary: As a big fan of Aliens series i really reallly had high expectations of quality on this game , but at the end , this game is just a waste of time for every Aliens fan , single player mode was very alright at the overall , you have a level up system and personalization on your guns and some boss fights , but its full of glitches and bad textures at most of the time , character models looks bad and the athmosphere doesnt feel like aliens , this game does not feel like...
Summary: Alot of wasted challenges. Was not worth the price at all. Game is okay if playing with friends, but the creatures look like ghost's instead of sci-fi Creatures, no realness at all, ya feel me?
Summary: Lovable collectibles, such as the statue and weapon drafts, as for the game graphics and textures are bad, bad story, underdeveloped characters, well, the only thing that I liked was the variety of weapons and some background story referred to the aliens movie.
Summary: This was a fun game, but there were many problems. I guess mainly disappointments. For one thing, the aliens just charged you like they were dunb attack dogs. The game wasn't very scary or suspenseful. Only one part was even kind off scary. And Alien was supposed to be a horror movie! The multiplayer matches aren't very big. The graphics are good, but the story was basically the same as Aliens. Maybe half the missions really made me feel like I was in an Aliens movie.
Summary: Got this at a blockbuster close out for 12 bucks. The people complaining about graphics, what's wrong? Yeah there could be some tweaks but it still shines. The game play is fine. If you have played a fps before than you know the score. I have not dealt with any frame rate issues that others are ranting about...yet. I played a couple online matches and they were fun as well. I'm having as blast playing this game. It's a good run n gun game.
honestly, it isn't as terrible as a lot of reviews say, but it isn't much good either

Summary: some of the level designs were neat, but partnered with archaic gameplay styles and often muddled graphics, it really doesn't stand up to modern competition. when played on the harder settings, the game feels a little less repetitive, but that doesn't change some of the story aspects that are mind-boggling - especially for a game which FOX Films gave the rights to make it canonical within the movie franchise.
Summary: Game is pretty bad but if your immediate group of friends are "Aliens" and you're playing with them, you'll have a cool experience, my advice is play it on the hardest difficulty. it's the closest way the game feels like the movies.
