ONE OF THE WORST PIECES OF CRAP OF THE ALIEN VIDEOGAME FRANCHISE
5 April 2014
Summary: This is the result of 8 years of work!! Oh, my!!! The game was originally announced when PS2 was still on the market. The poor AVP2 box office and lack of interest of AVP 3 game put this into the freezer.......until Prometheus was announced. The developers when running to the trash cannisters in the hallway, hoping the trucks didn't collected the garbage yet.
Summary: I had been looking forward to playing this title since the PS3 launch. After playing AvP, having gotten the YLOD, and having my PS3 repaired, I finally got this title. I had heard that it had gotten bad reviews, even read a few of them. But I figured, hey, why not if for no other reason than to see where they took the storyline. But now that I've played it myself, HOLY S@#T IS IT BAD!! I feel like I'm playing a slightly up-scaled SNES game made by a home-brew developer.
Summary: The bonus items I got with this game were better then the game itself. The game play graphics were poor, the story was full of holes, there were a lot of visual and sound glitches, mostly involves just shooting hordes of aliens running at you and shooting other humans. The game is also repetitive and has a terrible ending. I was obvious that this game was rushed out and had budget cuts during it's production. I am never preordering a game again.
Summary: After many months playing this game, and now that all my hype is gone, I have to agree with almost everyone; Aliens Colonial Marines is a huge disappointment. The main campaign that is. It is borderline insulting to many Die-Hard Aliens fans. I am still sticking to my original review, though notice that my original review in the normal copy page was mainly about multiplayer.
Summary: This the worst game that I have bought in long time. I do not know how they managed to get their hands on the license for such a great movie with a game that looks like this. This is TERRIBLE. It looks like they got to about the 70% mark and said screw it. Then sold it anyway.
Summary: Well I am sure it is obvious by now that this game is not very good. It was so hyped up and the fan base is just so totally loyal and we have been wanting a game like this for so long and when we finally got a look at it the feeling I experienced was like being kicked in the testicles. I am sure some other folks feel the same way. I actually had it pre ordered through amazon for months before it came out.
Summary: I was so disappointed in this game that I've made a personal pledge to never buy another Sega game new, a small symbolic protest. Putting out a crap game like this, assuming people will buy it for their love of the underlying intellectual property, is the worst kind of slap in the face to a true fan.
