Summary: the playstation is different then the xbox. i notice some scenes were skipped and gameplay. so i dont know were im at in the game. all i know is 10 enemies are trying to get at you. it is hard to beat them. then when you die you go back were the game saved you at. in this game you have to focus the joystick to see were your at. even when your fighting.
Summary: Pros: Alice madness returns is a very creative game. It has great visual ideas and its interesting how the story line progresses. You get quite a bit of game too with the addition of an online pass for the original game. Cons: Graphically this would be a great ps2 game. There are numerous glitches which makes some of the many timed jumping sequences difficult.
Summary: It took me by surprise when I discovered that they were making a sequel to American McGee's Alice. The first one, at the time, was such a strange and beautifully rendered game that it really was enjoyable and fresh to play. I could easily forgive that you had to target your enemies and that the camera angles stunk. Here we are over ten years later with Alice: Madness Returns.
Summary: This was kinda dull and not very fun at all, the gameplay is not good and is one of those games where the controls are poor so that you just fail a simple jump - which gets really annoying. Lent it to my friend and although he completed it, it was not really enjoyed.
Summary: Alice: Madness Returns seems to be lacking something. It had great graphics and from looking @ the cover & reading the review I could hardly contain myself with the excitement. I have never been so dissapointed in a game in all my years of game playing. It lacks depth it. by looking at the cover u may expect something in the line of Bioshock or a a game similar but this is nowhere near all u do is run around with a pepper grinder shooting pig snouts.
Summary: I love platformer games and bought this game hoping it will be a good one,I was wrong first level is ok,but game soon gets boring and repetitive. graphics are nothing to get excited about, and there are too many flaws, the game lacks polish and detail.and camera angle is bad.voice acting is poor, story is a mess and makes no sense.I bought this game on sale for £10 but was not worth even £10. I gave up playing after a few levels.
Summary: I rented this game for this review, and expected huge things. I first heard about this game at the 2011 E3 Expo. From what I saw, I was expecting a brilliant and well crafted game, with beautiful artwork and that hint of Tim Burtonesque design. I was wrong. When Alice: Madness Returns arrived, I was excited and put the game straight into my console. After avdubious loading time, i began the game.
Pros: looks nice, 2d sequences are impressive
Cons: unplayable and old-fashioned controls, collision detection is a fail
Summary: I so, so wanted to like this game. To be fair, at times I did, but those flashes of enjoyment were few and far between. Before getting into the pros/cons of this game, let me talk about the game itself. 'Alice' has six long levels for you to peruse, as well as many collectibles to find along the way. The time spent on this game depends on whether you're looking just to beat it or complete it -- completion will likely keep you busy for a reasonable amount of time.
