Summary: I read some reviews before I purchased this game, and to tell you the truth, I wasn't sure what to expect. That being said, the review that I read was completely wrong. This game is fun!!! The controls as well as the way the camera follows your aircraft around are a little wacky, I will admit, however, the game is just fun. It comes with helicopter missions, fighter jet missions, bombing to combats, to shooting at Viet-Cong on the ground.
Summary: the other review said it's fun.not. well maybe for about ten minutes til you see how repetitive it is.crappy graphics, screwy controls and short missions.no story.why is it when a vietnam based game is made its always crap? confkict vietnam on ps2/xbox is the only good one well besides shellshock.don'waste a penny on this game.just thrown together to meet a deadline in the gaming business.this game sucks!!!
Summary: It's no masterpiece, but it's really fun almost in spite of itself- that is, if you like blowing stuff up with some Vietnam War aircraft. The gameplay gets repetitive at times and so does the faux 60's rock soundtrack, and the "story", consisting of letters from family back home read aloud and some scarce narration, is really cheesy and shallow, but the game is just FUN. The combat is pretty satisfying most of the time.
Excerpt: A poor game with few, if any, redeeming features. All jets handle pretty much identically and the layout for the helicopter controls is bizarre. All action takes place in a box over the landscape, restricting what ever freedom you may feel you have. Simply the worst of the Air Conflict series.
