Summary: my friend had this game on psn, and i came over his house to try it out, after about 4 hours of playing it, i pretty much got hooked up to it, but im very paranoid about having physical copies of anything that i buy, so after looking long and hard i found it, it is the same exact game on psn.
Summary: This is one of the god damn forsaken longest JRPG game i've played in my life. The graphics are pretty bad and the game itself is long as hell. Don't be a sore loser and give up halfway. That sensation you get when you beat all 5 generations is priceless. If you're struggling i suggest you get the dlc weapons package, but im not sure if it works with this version. My advice is to not give up, and stick through the game to the very end.
Summary: It was the best investment I have ever put in a game. I was able to get over 200 hours of gameplay in this game just to beat it the first time. And the game has a very interesting New game+ that keeps it interesting to repeat in order to get all of the trophies. I have already bought Agarest Zero and Can't wait til Agarest Senki 2 comes out in English (IF it comes out...). Wonderful Game!
Summary: Works with the US PS3 and has english subtitles. Like the other reviewer, I rather buy physical copies of games and not have to download the game off the PSN. If you don't own an Xbox, get the ps3 version!
Conclusion: This is a good SRPG, which have a huge amount of depth of gameplay, with a unique "Soul Breeding" that is used to generate the main character each generation. As always with these types of games the graphics are not cutting edge. But they are very nice hand drawn 2d sprites that are very pleasing to the eye. But you should probably avoid if "eye candy" is an important part of games for you.
