It's OK but older ace combats were better.

Summary: this is a pretty decent game on its own but doesn't really feel like ace combat anymore. In ace combat assult horison the battle field is pretty small yet the map is huge leaving you with a lot of useless airspace.
Summary: I have played this for a while but I do not consider myself a gamer. Being that is said, I am hung up in part three of the game. Can't understand really where I am supposed to be at all times to get through it. Like I said I am not a gamer but this is the reason I can't rate it that high.
Summary: It seems the controls for this version are a bit different from the original on the PS2 and it's taking a while to adjust. As such, I am not finding it nearly as fun as the original, which is a shame because the graphics are fantastic. I've never been much into story line, just let me fly!
Summary: The main problem for ACAH is too relying on the DFM/ASM mode IMO. It does look awesome & exciting at first, but soon you realized you don't really have much control or freedom compares to old AC titles. DFM/AFM put you into a preset path and chase the enemy automatically.
Not as good or as fun as previous ace combat games.

Summary: Well just like the title says this games is no where near as fun as previous ace combat games. Its basically more or a action game the a flight simulator. It seems as if namco went away from the bread and butter of the series and went full Michael bay on this edition.
Summary: This latest in the long string of Ace Combat titles is the first I did not really enjoy. The graphics are awsome. The story is as good as the others. The problem lay in them over complicating the combat style.
Summary: Having spent my earlier days mastering Ace Combat 04, I was looking forward to having a title from the franchise for my PS3. Unfortunately, I'm a bit disappointed. So far, I'm only through the first two levels.
