Summary: I loved the Ace Combat series and had great hopes for this game. I found that I better understand what other reviewers had commented on. I will phrase it in a slightly different way. This is more of a game to watch rather than to play. It's kind of like the newest Pearl Harbor movie; it"s either a love story or a war movie, it can't be both. This game is a VERY good looking game, but actually playing it kind of gets in the way of watching it.
Summary: Ok Game, If You're Looking For Something Fun and Quick. I Honestly Didn't Like This Game, But That Is From Past Experience. With My Rating I Looked At It As if I Never Played Any Other Ace Combat Game. If You Went Into This Wanting a Explosive Arcade Style Game, It Would Be Great. It Drives You Into the Action, and You Are Constantly Bombarded With Waves of Explosions and Enemies. In My Case I Am a Long Time Ace Combat Fan, With The Unsung War Being My Favorite.
Summary: I have played this for a while but I do not consider myself a gamer. Being that is said, I am hung up in part three of the game. Can't understand really where I am supposed to be at all times to get through it. Like I said I am not a gamer but this is the reason I can't rate it that high. I am a Call of Duty nut and don't have problems but I do in this game. Enough said, just getting a little board trying to move along in it.

Summary: Disappointing. I played Ace Combat 4 and 0 years before and wanted to get the new one since they have a history of being epic, story-driven, very fun games. Assault Horizon is complete garbage.
Summary: Pros: Great graphics, outputs up to 1080P which I find is a rare thing among alot of games for the PS3, takes full advantage of the system. A decent fighter game, not a fighter sim by any stretch of the imagination but it is a good overall game and has a lot of action in it, decent story which is surprising for a flight sim.
