  • Excerpt: At first I was not really liking this Manfrotto strap, but after making minor adjustments, this is a MUST have for anyone carryin around a tri-pod. I love the sturdy rubber grip handle. The bottom part strap wraps arounf the Tri-Pod legs and once connected, you simply pull tight the velcro strap and lock it nto place..
  • Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Does not Chafe, Quick Disonnect, Strong Construction, Velco Straps, Well Padded

Strap review

Karen, B&H Photo
27 February 2012
  • Excerpt: This strap is very well made and can be used (in my opinion) for just about any tripod. The only issue I had was that it requires a ring for it to attach at the top (head) area. I quickly sewed up a strap with a D ring and velcroed that to the neck of my tripod and was ready to go. The handle is comfortable and once attached the whole thing is balaced and easy to use.
  • Pros: Highly Compatible

Limited Compatibility

  • Excerpt: I have to admit I am a little disappointed with Manfrotto's attention to detail. I use a wide variety of their gear from studio to location. They always seem to miss something with their accessories. Either that or they are planning a mass refresh of their products. In the case of this hand strap, I was looking for a clean and elegant solution to carry a MT057C4 tripod. First of all the velcro strap is not long enough to strap around all three legs.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Lightweight
  • Cons: Limited Compatibility

  • Excerpt: This works ok as a hand carry strap but is far too short for use as a shoulder strap which is what I wanted. Very will made though.

  • Excerpt: I was expecting the handle to be a little longer so I could carry my tripod over my shoulder but it's a perfectly good hand carrying handle. Good purchase, gets the job done.

Disappointed with this strap

Glamour Bomb, B&H Photo
11 May 2011
  • Excerpt: I bought this strap for my Manfrotto 055XPROB thinking it would sling over the shoulder but nooooo. I would not have purchased this item if it were more clear in the item title, item description or if there was a better photo. It arrived with no instructions on how to connect it so it wasn't until I did a search and watched an amateur video (not a pro one from the manufacturer) did I discover this is only a handle strap.

Great tripod strap and great quality

Rick, R., B&H Photo
2 March 2011
  • Excerpt: This strap is very good, serves its purpose but I wish it was adjustable in length because it is not long enough to carry on your shoulders. The only problem that I have is the inability to carry the tripod and taking pictures at the same time. Other than that, quality is great and the price is fair.
  • Pros: Comfortable, Strong Construction, Well Padded
