Not What I Wanted

JMcGee, Amazon
18 September 2014
  • Summary: I was a bit disappointed in this product, because it did not describe the GPS transmitter as an external piece, that also needed to be clipped on to the HR monitor strap or in a pocket. The cost of this watch was not appropriate for the hassle of having an external GPS transmitter when other comparable watches have internal transmitters. The watch itself was easy to use, and fit well.

Well pleased thus far.....

  • Summary: This is the first HR monitor that I have used. I just recetnly started running, but it has certainly help me tremendously in better gauging when I need to take it easy versus when I can push myself further. I am looking forward to all that I can learn from the readings that are taken during each session.

Amazing Purchase!

  • Summary: This is my first sports watch. I have been biking with this and also doing some cross fit training. The watch is pretty good for biking since it comes with a GPS. And a personal training application that is available online. It really helps to maximize training. It is very light and causes no inconvenient at the moment to train. The Heart Rate Band might go out of battery too fast. Thus, I have just been using the battery that came with it.

Good features, useful watch

  • Summary: Not too sure about the previous reviewers issues, I'm not sure why you'd buy a HRM with an external GPS and then criticize it for having an external GPS?! I've had one of these for a year and found it to be a very useful piece of kit. The HRM has quite a few features. The only time I've encountered issues with the strap has been when it has silted up with salt from perspiration - the manual recommends washing it after 5 uses.

Buy Garmin Instead

N1kkx, Amazon
4 March 2012
  • Summary: This is my second Polar product and like many people I stuck with Polar because I have all my training history held in their Polar software. However, next time I will 'bite the bullet' and change to Garmin. The issue is that Polar products are not 'robust' Nothing works like it should do and if it does then it doesnt for long. The wearlink system is OK for a few months and then starts to become sporadic.

Mycket bra

Proppen40, Prisjakt
6 March 2014
