Summary: This watch has an embarrassment of features. If all you do with your time is play with gadgets, then you will probably love this one. However, when I go out for a run, I do not want to be constantly futzing with tiny buttons trying to get a few simple pieces of useful information; i.e.
Summary: I read a lot of reviews before I purchased this product. It was not as easy to use as the other reviews indicated. It was a challenge to get the watch, foot pod and heart rate monitor set up and ready to use. When I did start running with the watch, it was almost .1 miles off for accuracy.
Summary: Never was able to use this watch. I figured out that most of the results (such as calorie counting) cannot be found on the watch itself but only on the garmin website after downloading workouts. If you are looking for a watch that displays calorie count, this is NOT the one.
Summary: I purchased this watch almost exactly one year ago, with the foot pod, heart rate monitor and USB ANT stick because my treadmill's speed display wasn't working. It worked pretty well when running, though the speed was not very accurate when walking - varied greatly between 3mph and 5mph even though...
Summary: I like the watch. After using it for three weeks I am having a hard time getting the watch to pick up my heart rate. I have contacted Garmin about the issue and to see about returning the watch. I paid a lot of money for an item that does not work correctly.
Summary: This product was a replacement for my wife's SUUNTO heart monitor. Found it to be way too difficult to use and the owner's manual seemed worthless. When she is trying to make a function work "in the field", a small quick guide would do the trick but the real details for this are on a CD and that...
Summary: I bought this for my wife to use as a training tool while preparing for the Marine Corps Marathon. First thing we did was calibrate it against my Forerunner 305, and off she went. We do weekend long runs together, and it immediately became apparent that the calibration of the FR60 was off.
Summary: Just got the watch today after a 5 day wait on shipping. The watch broke not more than 1 min after removing it from the box :( I went to turn the watch on and pressed the mode button once and it just popped right off...well actually shot off as the spring sent the button flying across the room.
Summary: I purchased this garmin HRM because of the great features. I use this watch indoors and out, and particularly liked the backlight since it was easy to see in my spin cycle class. The backlight started to fade, so much so that I cannot see the reading in the dark.
Summary: I bought this watch with a GSC10 to use in an indoor cycling class. Although it works ok (well, sort of - see below), the user's manual, which is only available online, is almost impossible to use.
