you expect it to work better than a free app on your phone

Summary: So disappointing. You spend a couple hundred bucks on a gadget by a well-known, respectable company, you expect it to work better than a free app on your phone. However, my Forerunner 610 has been giving me headaches since I got it. First I had issues with it connecting to the charger. Then I had issues with it picking up satellite (my phone takes 15 seconds max, Garmin takes at least 15 minutes). Now I'm having trouble syncing my activities to Garmin's software.
Summary: This is really a review of the entire Garmin wristband system. If your band has broken, I suppose the best you can do is buy this band on Amazon. I did so and the band has already broken in two places--just a month after purchase. This is my THIRD watchband in as many years of owning this watch. Can Garmin not make a watchband that doesn't break for a $350 watch? Or does it not want to, figuring some people will just buy a totally new watch when the watchband breaks?
