Summary: ***CONSUMER ALLERT*** Real piece of crap! Poor craftsmanship, with complete disregard for customer satisfaction. This product was used by me for a little more than 1 year, which is conveniently the exact term of the warranty. This watch was used as a running watch only.
Summary: If I have a choice again, I do NOT buy this one, although I bought it with a deal as $150. I'm looking for another one, fenix 2 is the best. 1.I used it for half year, and the heart beat monitor was being crazy, I tried to changed new battery, BUT the SCREWS are made by MUD, you can NOT LOOSEN the...
Hidden operating cost of $90 every 1.5 years. Buyers beware.

Summary: I purchased this watch a little over a year and a half ago. I actually really like the features of the watch and the garmin connect software allows you to pull some pretty neat reports with HR/location/etc.
Summary: This is my second Garmin ForeRunner 410. I really like the watch because it is very functional, given that I run all the time and am constantly training for 42KMs. The biggest issue I have is on product durability. This watch gets busted after just a year of use.
Summary: Garmin, Boo! Purchased this unit and within a few uses it stopped working. Just won't turn on. Called Garmin for warranty help and all I can get from them is a refurbished unit. That's their policy; their products will break and you will get a fixed broken one in return.
Summary: The bezel is too sensitive and the system periodically reboots or turns off. By the time I finally get the watch to the correct settings through countless efforts and begin my run, the watch starts changing settings, attempting to again acquire the GPS, or the workout stops entirely.
Summary: I purchased this as a gift for my husband in June. Satellite connection is often losted during outdoor workouts and all data is wiped out. The cord to recharge the battery stopped working in a very short period of time. Garmin claims there is nothing wrong with the device - only the recharge cord.
Summary: I am an engineer and have to say this is one of the most confusing products I have ever encountered. I bought it for my mother who is not very technically savvy so when I was horribly confused on its operation I knew she would never get it.
Summary: Feature-wise this is an excellent watch. However, as other reviewers have pointed out, some of the units suffer from catastrophic issues with software reboots and the battery meter. As a result, I would strongly discourage readers from buying this watch.
