Summary: ***CONSUMER ALLERT*** Real piece of crap! Poor craftsmanship, with complete disregard for customer satisfaction. This product was used by me for a little more than 1 year, which is conveniently the exact term of the warranty. This watch was used as a running watch only. There were no abusive conditions, as I have a desk job, so I was not out swinging a hammer or doing physical activity, other than running, while wearing this device.
Summary: If I have a choice again, I do NOT buy this one, although I bought it with a deal as $150. I'm looking for another one, fenix 2 is the best. 1.I used it for half year, and the heart beat monitor was being crazy, I tried to changed new battery, BUT the SCREWS are made by MUD, you can NOT LOOSEN the screws, you only can destroy it. 2.I'm using foot-pod and heart beat, you will find there are several points are crazing and make your graph to be funny.
Hidden operating cost of $90 every 1.5 years. Buyers beware.

Summary: I purchased this watch a little over a year and a half ago. I actually really like the features of the watch and the garmin connect software allows you to pull some pretty neat reports with HR/location/etc. However, I just ran my first marathon this past Sunday and the watch went dead on me at 4hrs 50mins. The specs claim it should last 8hrs with continuous use.
Summary: This is my second Garmin ForeRunner 410. I really like the watch because it is very functional, given that I run all the time and am constantly training for 42KMs. The biggest issue I have is on product durability. This watch gets busted after just a year of use. My first Garmin 410 started to zone out and not charge after a year of use (i.e. after the warranty expired). I thought it was just a fluke so I bought another one. Lo and behold... it got busted after a year.
Summary: Garmin, Boo! Purchased this unit and within a few uses it stopped working. Just won't turn on. Called Garmin for warranty help and all I can get from them is a refurbished unit. That's their policy; their products will break and you will get a fixed broken one in return. Forget that you paid for a new one, you will end up with someone else's broken one. Nice. I would rate lower if I could. All that said, Amazon did great, Garmin falling short here.
Summary: Today I ran the half marathon in Pittsburgh and my watch NEVER picked up satellite reception!!! I ran with $150 stop watch. When I run rails to trails it's always a couple tenths off. Extremely frustrating!
Summary: The bezel is too sensitive and the system periodically reboots or turns off. By the time I finally get the watch to the correct settings through countless efforts and begin my run, the watch starts changing settings, attempting to again acquire the GPS, or the workout stops entirely. After I finally figured out the devices quirks and sensitivity using countless online sites and began using it, I could not send it back for full refund.
Summary: I purchased this as a gift for my husband in June. Satellite connection is often losted during outdoor workouts and all data is wiped out. The cord to recharge the battery stopped working in a very short period of time. Garmin claims there is nothing wrong with the device - only the recharge cord. Garmin promised to replace the cord. To date, I'm still waiting for the replacement.
