Summary: If you're an occasional runner such as myself, this watch is perfect. It's easy to use, easy to navigate, super light weight. I have the old Garmin 405?- silver thing- and the battery doesn't work worth a darn. This one, the GPS is easy to turn off when it's not being used, you can even turn off the entire watch if you choose. I guess the dude who lives at: 28602 74th dr NW, Stanwood, Washington didn't like it. He ran 14 miles with and returned it.
Summary: Had this watch for under 2 months. Whenever I take it out, it "pauses" after 6 seconds - over and over. Also unable to download any updated software. Been waiting on hold at Garmin for 40 minutes. UPDATE - Well after 45 minutes on hold, a woman came on the line and spent about 20 minutes (without rushing me) and walked me through the software (and got it to work), how to upload etc.
Summary: After having taken this GPS watch on a few runs, I've been very pleased with it. * GPS is very accurate * Display is very easy to read even in direct sunlight * Beeps are very audible * The wrist strap holder thing (the loop to hold the wrist strap in place) has 3 nubs on it that secure it the wrist strap. So even if you brush up against it, it doesn't move.
Summary: I originally purchased the Nike GPS watch over a year ago. After a year, the screen fogged up due to sweat getting into the screen. Although Nike states the watch is water resistance 50 meters, I never used it in water just to avoid this issue. After some calls Nike.com was very helpful and told me I could exchange it for another even though it was over the one year contract. I exchanged it and within a week, I had issues with the new watch.
Fantastic device for the novice as well as advanced.

Summary: -As soon as I got the watch I was excited to go for a run and compare my phone apps (GPS, pace, and heart rate) to the Garmin. I had been having great difficulty in getting a solid accurate route on my phone via GPS. My phone was regularly off a half, to a mile each run. The Garmin has my runs very accurate, and matching my mapping programs to verify. The signal locks on very fast, in less than 15 seconds.
