Excerpt: I’m indiscriminately attracted to portable electronics. That’s why I added hamburger speakers or capsule speakers , whatever they’re called, into my office wish-list. I didn’t mind something that came from CD-R king, I heard they’re selling their own at a cheaper expense. I was more hopeful to receive a hamburger key chain, which actually doubles as a portable speaker and anything of that sort. Well I got more than I wanted. I received the X-Mini II capsule speakers .
Summary: Before I purchased this item, I had purchased a similar one for about $5. It was a better than my built in laptop computer speakers. However, I decided I wanted something better. This item is a whole lot better. The sound is surprisingly good for what it is. My only complaint is with the instruction manual. It has the smallest font that I have ever seen for a manual by far. It took two reading glasses, one worn over the other.
Summary: Im experimenting by putting them in a box, or against a wall. Im big on the idea of bouncing sound around, and reflex acoustics. It appears I can get just a bit more bass by putting them on top of a Box on a table as it uses the box to pump up a bit.But not saying bass isnt completely acceptable as it is. I just like to screw around a bit.
Pros: Bought two of these sparrow eggs, hooked up in series,my Android likes them, I put John Coltrane on Pandora.Max Volume . the room filled up with very clean crisp Jazz.No distortion no buzz. But after all they are alive.Buy these is you need good quality personal sound .Thae are very good.
Cons: I didnt buy a third. Im a believer in Tesla and 3 is the magic number, I will purchase a third, as not to cause trouble in the Cosmos.
Summary: These things are very solid and can take a beating. I've been using these almost everyday for about six months now, and they are awesome! I mainly use them at work with a laptop or with my ipod classic, great for movies or music. They can easily fill a room and without the sound being muffled or distorted at high volumes. Also if you have more than one(I have two) you can easily connect them to one another for a great performance.
Pros: Sound Quality, build quality, usb rechargeable battery that lasts a long time, very small, nice design.
Cons: Price might be a little high for some, but they are worth it.
Excerpt: As far as portable speakers go, not many can match the price and product of the X-Mini II speaker . Selling at a base of 29.99, but easily found for less on the web, it’s an alluring little piece of technology that goes a long way. I was very surprised when I first plugged them in, as to how loud they could get. For such a small speaker , they pack a powerful punch of audio.
Excerpt: This was part of a gift along with my new I pod for Christmas, so I don't know the price paid, though it seems to be around £10-20 on various sites, less on Ebay. I was not convinced of my need for a speaker (who else wants to hear my taste in music?!), but on first try I was sold with a capital S. The product Prior to use it is a small round speaker, approximately 5 cm in diameter by 3 cm tall.
Summary: I was skeptical buying this because of the low price, but I am very pleased. The speaker is loud enough (but the volume level isn't anything crazy). Max volume is not accompanied by any scratchiness. Not too much bass, which I have found in some speakers. Battery goes on and on and on - I've only charged it once and I've probably used it for 10 hours. Great price, great product.
