Maria Lucia Aschner, Amazon

  • Summary: I got my speakers and the box was all bent and the speakers didnt work. It turned out there was a problem with one of the cables and I got them fixed but I would want to have to fix everything a buy when its supposed to be new

You get what you pay for

DChoutx, Amazon
3 January 2014
  • Summary: They're cute, and fine if you're listening in a small room, but the sound is not very good and doesn't carry well at all. We had them on the porch outside while cleaning up the yard and you couldn't hear it more than 10 steps away.

junky design, decent sound for price

amob, Amazon
8 December 2013
  • Summary: very cheap. Many pieces fell off 1 month after use. The sound is pretty decent for the price but don't expect for the shell and it's pieces to hold up very long. The metal part fell off on both of them.

Fine but better exists

Sameer Tapryal, Amazon
1 March 2013
  • Summary: It is a nice portable speaker but the volume control wire got a loose connection in a few days and I returned it. The sound quality is good for cheap portable speakers. Makes movie audio and voices much better than native laptop speakers. I had the x-mini single speaker before I got this and it does almost the exact same thing, in a smaller package and cheaper price. The price increase too this model is not justified in my mind.

Annoying LED

Amazon
15 August 2012
  • Summary: These speakers sound fine, but they each have a very bright LED on them. If the speakers are turned around so you can't see the LED the speakers, of course, don't sound as good.

One died within weeks

PC, Amazon
21 May 2012
  • Summary: The sound was good ... until one of the speakers died. Now I just use the single speaker which is still way better than my cell phone speaker, but it's always disappointing to pay for a product that doesn't last.

Loud yes but low quality sound

cdjflyslow, Amazon
27 October 2011
  • Summary: I bought these with high hopes. they did get pretty loud for such small speakers. But the sound quality was pretty poor. Kind of like a set of headphones turned way up. Also the power switches stick out in a way that makes them very easy to turn on accidentally so you find you battery dead when you want to listen. One of my two speakers quit working the third time I used it. Gave two stars because the design is very cool and the battery life is excellent.

Had potential--too bad! See Sony SRS-M50...

W. Cook "DVDWilly", Amazon
3 June 2011
  • Summary: I ordered these to use with my ASUS Transformer tablet. The design is very clever and they appear to be fairly well made. However, they suffer from some real quality control issues. When I received them the Right channel unit was dead. Plugged it into the other plug on the cord--Nope! Not the cord--the speaker itself.

Nice at first but didnt' last long

kty, Amazon
13 May 2011
  • Summary: Speakers were very nice at first. Hardly used and just a couple of months later (conveneniently) after the return option expires, one of the speakers died! Not very impresive, and most irritating, as we hoped to take them on a beach trip next weekend. Meanwhile, they have not even left the house yet. Very, very disappointint that the life is so very short. Bummed.
