Summary: The speaker was cool but I was not impressed with the sound, the bass overpowered everything else and it wasn't that loud. I only used it for a few hours when it died, plugged it in and it would not recognize that it was being charged. For the price I would not recommend it.
Summary: I have been seeing so many mixed reviews for different products that I decided to buy a few, try them out, and decide for myself which one I'm going to keep. So I ended up buying the 4 speakers that have high ratings: Accessorise (tm) Portable Bluetooth Wireless Mini Speaker System, Alpatronix AX300 X-tra Strong Bluetooth Portable Mini Capsule Speaker, DBEST London Duo Bluetooth Rechargeable Mini-Speaker Set (PS4003BT-RB), HMDX Audio HX-P230GY JAM Classic Bluetooth...
Summary: As a wired mini speaker it is just as splendid in sound quality as the original X-Mini However, the bluetooth connection isn't nearly as good as the sound loses some crispness. When using the in-built mic for FaceTime/Skype or conference calling, it gets worse. The mic quality is really bad and there is a constant background buzz. The iPhone mic in itself is much better.
Summary: Great little speaker, but stopped emitting sound (Bluetooth MP3 control still worked) after 3 months. We thought paying more for a quality speaker was a good idea, but actually you might as well buy a circa £15 one as sound vary similar and have same warranty length. As usual Amazon customer service and returns were excellent 5+ stars.
Summary: The sound is really good - when using it by plugging in the wire into PC/mobile-phone. But getting the product to work as a speaker-phone over Bluetooth dosn't work and there's no driver to download anywhare. And that reduces the value a lot !
