Summary: This was easy to set up and the sound was good. Unfortunately, after 7 months it quit. The sound will randomly turn off and the lights will start flashing. If I turn it off for a while, then it will work again for a little while. I called vizio and they were no help. I'm now shopping for a new system and I will never buy another Vizio product. Don't waste your money on this system.
Summary: Right before Christmas I bought from local box store the 55" Vizio LCD-LED lit HDTV, Vizio BluRay Player, and Vizio Soundbar & Wireless Subwoofer Model VHT210. Everything was wonderful and a great Christmas gift to ourselves. However, the soundbar went out after 3 1/2 weeks. After troubleshooting with Vizio on the phone for over 45 minutes they told us to take it back or send it in.
Summary: Had this sound bar to go with my new Vizio TV. Unfortunately after about a year, the bar won't stay powered on. It will stay on for 5 mins or so, then power itself off and won't power on for a variable period of time. I don't know if something overheats, or what, but I was quite disappointed with the life-span of the product. If it had just lasted, everything else was good.
Summary: First, the sub-woofer wouldn't work. Never worked. The directions to set it up (yes, I read them) were very simple. It just didn't work. Never heard a peep from the sub-woofer. So I just used the bar for a while. OK sound - obviously a little tinny, but not bad. Better than the TV sound. The tiny, easy-to-lose remote is a nuisance and is cheap - doesn't work well; has to be aimed very precisely, and the buttons are balky.
Okay, except for Digital Audio Input & Sony Remotes. Only lasted 24 months.

Summary: I bought the VSB210WS and Sony KDL-46VL160 LCD TV (on a Simplicity large full-motion mount) in October 2009. They are used with a Comcast HD cable box and a Sony DVD player. I wanted a simple system that was easy for the kids to operate. That is, I want sound from the TV speakers and the Vizio sound bar at the same time, without going into a menu to select the sound mode (of course I usually turn the TV sound way down when the sound bar is on).
