Web description mis-represented and erroneous - Disappointed
11 October 2013
Summary: This item was very disappointing and bad information was provided by the web site. The item is mis-represented and erroneous and did not perform as promised. Specifically, the Veho WIFI speaker comes with a dongle - which needs to be in the USB port to activate the speaker.
Summary: It simply turns my wi-fi off, there is no connection at all when the dongle is plugged in. Emailed to Veho customer service with the question. Their recommendation was to try different USB ports and channels (there is a search channel button on the dognle). It didn't resolve the problem.
Summary: Not only does it not retain a charge, but the buttons stick and the wifi doesn't work. I contacted the company and was told that I have to get it returned through Amazon. Unfortunately I no longer live in the US and can't get it returned.
Summary: I bought this along with other wireless products hoping to get rid of all these wires around my desk. The speaker did accomplish that, but it BARELY STAYS CHARGED! Unless I got a defective one, this thing doesn't even go a day before it has to be plugged in via the USB cable.
Summary: I was hoping for a neat little piece of technology when I read all the 5 star reviews for this product. Unfortunately, that's not the case. First of all, I've already had one replacement of this item because the charging mechanism wasn't working properly. There are however many flaws to this.
Summary: execution is poor. The sound is great while it lasted, mine only lasted a few months before the it blew. I'd try and find another if I were you. Seen other reviews where the charge mechanism also didn't work after a few months, didn't experience that but alarm bells are ringing (not through the...
Summary: The product is small compact and neat and sound quality is reasonable for its size. HOWEVER and this is a big however it was primarily bought to listen to internet radio from a laptop and p.c.
Summary: I bought two Veho Mimi qube speakers and they were fine - but after about six months one of them suddenly would no longer take a charge. Two weeks later the exact same problem occurred with the other one, and that was the end of that. So it was back to my 20 year old Philips plug-in speakers.
