Summary: There's no need to spend a crazy amount of money on a speaker system when you can spend next to nothing on this set. Great sound for your laptop and mp3 player, and fits nice and compact on any desk. Definitely check this system out! This is a social writeup.
Summary: Really cool and compact...really like that I can plug my IPhone into it and any other audio player...perfect for small to medium get-to-gethers...Easy opening packaging and it is a must buy...
Decent & cheap, but not necessarily a great value.

Summary: It should go without saying, but I'll say it anyway: $30 doesn't go far when it comes to speakers. Therefore, in this price range value is the key consideration. The V7 2.1 speaker system does offer a little value, although it may be worth checking out the competition before whipping out your credit card. The V7 kit doesn't pretend to be anything more than it is- a budget speaker set. You get two desktop speakers, one subwoofer, and a wired "remote" volume control.
Summary: These little speakers are great, they don't take up very much space on your desk - but you'll definitely notice they are there when you turn them on. swith a nice wired remote to control volume, power, can even plug in headphones into it. The best part about it is that it takes longer to get out of the box than to set it up. Nice RCA jacks, no exposed wires you have to jam into holes. Also like to hook it up to my ipod when I have friends over.
Summary: This setup has a clean look to them and they caught my eye because they are a great price. Easy to set up and the volume control is easy and they sound clear and have good range. I live in a two bedroom apartment and I can put it loud enough to be heard through out my home. Very content with this purchase and I would recommend it to anyone else who is interested.
Summary: I recently received these speakers and decided that I didn't really have a use for them at my computer workstation (I had another set of speakers there with no subwoofer unit since I didn't really need that for my computer). So I set them up under my bed with each speaker situated on a night stand and the main subwoofer box under the bed directly. Since the volume control unit can be pulled pretty far I had that stick out the end of the bed.
Summary: If you are on a budget and really need something these will work for you. If you are mixing music or video then these are not so great for that. Pros easy set up nice look to them we have put them on the kids computer Cons the cords are a bit cumbersome compared to other sets we have used The sound quality is just ok i can hear a little crackle in some of the work that we are doing but again we are not the norm for using these since we have so much music and video work...
Summary: This is a hard product to review. On one hand, it's noticeably inferior in sound to the set of speakers I had attached to my home computer, but those speakers are definitely at a higher price point (not Bose, or the best of the 5.1 systems, but certainly not budget). It's certainly better than my laptop's speakers and for under $30 the price is right if you just want an upgrade over monitor speakers or for a laptop.
Summary: I got these for my sister for when she goes to college, and here's her take on 'em: I have been using these speakers while watching television episodes on Hulu and, of course, when listening to music. They have a really high maximum value and so far I've heard no buzzing because of playing them loudly. There is a separate wired volume control that, I've found, really comes in handy so you don't have to reach for the speakers every time you need to adjust the volume.
