I have not had any of the issues that other people reported as far as the speaker falling out of the handlebar mount and I ride
8 July 2015
Summary: I thought this item was a bit pricey, however, there weren't really any other options. I have not had any of the issues that other people reported as far as the speaker falling out of the handlebar mount and I ride my Motobecane hybrid pretty rough. The sound is excellent on the bike.
Comparison of FOXL V2, Bose Soundlink Mini, and Sony SRS-X3
3 September 2014
Summary: I've purchased a FOXL V2 Platinum and the regular version (as a gift) - and have been using the V2 for a couple of years. I also own a Bose Soundlink Mini that I picked up earlier this year, and a Sony SRS-X3 that I purchased a few weeks ago. Which one do I like best? Here's my take on things.
Summary: I have had these for over a year and a half now and am pretty happy with this product. I did not pay full price. A friend of mine won these at a corporate party and he sold them to me for $80. One of the best $80 I have ever spent.
Summary: Works great and holds your precious stereo system like its life depends on it! Word of caution however.. I have noticed that regularly putting it in and taking it out of the bike mount kit causes paint to chip off of the device.
Summary: It is almost impossible anymore to find a brick/mortar store that carries electronics that you can "test drive" before buying. No offense, Best Buy, but the big box stores do not have the range of prooducts that were carried by the old stereo shops.
