Defective

Stacy Glass, Amazon
26 March 2014
  • Summary: One speaker not working. The other "good" speaker cannot handle bass. Reordered from another vendor at a discount. Hoping that when both speakers work, I'll get better results.

Good for PC use, not for MP3

darnellbroome, Ebay
5 January 2013
  • Summary: The speakers were not loud at all. I bought them to connect a Sony MP3 player. I am now using them on a laptop. They have improved the sound on it.

Poor sound, even worse installation. Keep looking.

heddajune, Ebay
6 November 2012
  • Summary: Very tinny and weak sounding. Installation is an utter disaster. Every other speaker on the planet has tabs that fly out, these have a rectangular bracket that requires you to disassemble the speaker and remove the driver in order to install them.

  • Summary: Very disappointed with this. It is ok at BEST. I was not expecting much to be honest but SONY dropped the ball on this one.

Very Distorted Bass

Juan, Amazon
23 January 2012
  • Summary: These speakers seem okay at first, with decent volume and clarity, but every time a song with any bass comes on, you have to turn them down quieter and quieter until the distorted noises stop. I would only use them if you're going to be very close to them.

decent, but beware...

  • Summary: about an hour of playing music at high volume will drain a set of batteries.
  • Pros: decent sound quality at low-mid volume.
  • Cons: the sound distorts at higher volumes, especially the bass. also the battery life at higher end volume is horrid.
