Summary: I bought this set Sony 2.1 Personal Speakers (Black) back in 2011 and my set STILL SOUNDS GREAT! Everyone has a sound they are looking for, and for me I got lucky and found that right sound here. Good Bass, Enough volume to fill our 15' X 23' Room, I even hung them thru the window to have music during our Bar B Q, The yard is 50' X 100' NEXT to a highway, kids in pool, and sound was good.. I only had this set hooked to my HP Desktop computer...
Summary: Marketed for gamers, this unit also provides a very good HDTV listening experience without having to drop a fortune on an entertainment theater package. Light, crisp, with adjustable powered sub woofer for warm sound on the lower end.
Summary: The Good: Crazy good bass for a desktop set. It looks pretty cool and it pretty responsive. There isn't any lag like my old logitechs. Works well for music and games. The Bad: The sub for this is freaking massive. Like seriously. Think big then multiply that by 1.5x. I pulled it out and immediately said "wow". It doesnt fit all the way under my desk because of a support bar but thats okay its pretty.
Summary: These speakers have AMAZING bass control. Deliver clear, crisp sound, and I was surprised by how loud they could be without making that weird "crackling" noise that speakers sometimes do. I've been blasting them for a year now, and still in great shape. Best speaker system I've purchased. Only issue is that the satellites have very short cords connecting them to the subwoofer, so U cant spread them far apart.
Summary: I had these speakers for about 8 months. They worked very well and sounded great up until the left speaker died. Tried tinkering around with it quite a bit, but to no avail. Disappointed it died so fast, as these were satisfactory otherwise.
Summary: If you're interested in this sound system 2.1 you should get it. I had a logitech 2.1 and I thought it hit hard. When my roommate wanted to buy it I ended up selling it to him. I looked everywhere and did research for nice better sound systems. I ended up youtubing this sony sound system and I ordered it. I lived in dorms at the time and i would blast it. the bass i have is set at low and it shakes the doors.
Summary: For the prices these are great. Sony is known to produce good quality and these show. The BASS Speaker is kinda big. About the size of a Mini-Tower computer but it needs to be to give good bass. Good connected and I love the RCA connectors on back that come with the 1/8" built in cable. This helps you keep the cables behind the tower and plug into your PC or IPOD as Im using it for. I like the little LIGHT SHOW display. It pulses or spins or you can make it dim.
Summary: It is a good product for the price, however if you are looking for a good set of quality sounding speakers these are not what you want. They sound decent with the subwoofer, but not what I really wanted. The satellites are nothing more than boom box speakers from the 90s. You know what they say "you get what you pay for".
Summary: Don't buy this speaker set from this seller unless you're 100% sure you'll keep and don't need to return it. I learned the hard way and got burned already: I paid $131.71 with free shipping bought the speaker. But late I found the speaker was not good. I paid about $20 to ship it back and this seller charged me restock fee + the so called "free shipping" fee and got $105.37 back. So if you're not sure the speaker and my return it, you're looking for $50 deduction.
