Summary: for a bluetooth speaker of this price, i can fairly say that this is a good buy...! its depth is superb hence the bass is very good... for Sony to make it even better i would suggest two things: first, improve the high frequencies (this is indeed missing as you increase the volume) and second, try to increase the stereophonic (left & right) separation... i won't mind spending another twenty bucks for these improvements, really...
Summary: I'd originally just bought this speaker to link wirelessly to my ipod, but when I found it also had an input socket I decided to link it to my DVD player to try and support the diddy TV's speakers. Turned out to be a great mini sound bar senario, not surround sound, but with 30W and the mega base you get a good rich quality for all films.
Unit is just ok - rather large and bluetooth could be easier

Summary: I got this mainly to use as a speaker system for my laptop on my desk. Shockingly the unit is VERY LARGE and takes up significant desk space. So that idea went straight out the window. Now I use it as a bedside speaker. It's main drawbacks are its size and the bluetooth is a bit fiddly to get going if you don't use it for a while - you have to go back to read the setup manual again.
Summary: dont waste your time or money, for the size of it the sound is not very loud or good quality, im a dj and im fussy about sound quality, i sent this back for refund it was that poor, honestly - get a party parrot which is a quarter the size of this, louder and much much much better sound quality . i have a sony tv, ps3, bluray player, digibox, gigajuke hifi - in other words i like sony gear but this is very poor...........get the parrot.
Summary: I'm used to using a JBL "On Tour" docking station at work, but decided to buy the Sony equivalent instead, because it docks with my Walkman without any wires, and charges the battery at the same time. Those are definitely plus points, which make it worth having. It is also useful to change tracks using the remote control, though as you can only go forward/back, this isn't like navigating the whole menu, as you do on the Walkman itself.
Summary: I bought this speaker to use with my PC (with bluetooth dongle), which it works with with no problems. Though I have used it with my mobile also. You just need to pair the devices first. You hold a button to make the Speaker discoverable. You shouln't need to do this again. The PC automatically mutes it's speakers while it's connected. (Windows Media Player) A blue light illuminates when it is connected. It's about the size of a portable stereo.
Summary: I purchased this speaker to use with my MacBook Pro as it can steam to Bluetooth speakers using the A2DP profile. For the price I am very happy with the speaker, but I connect to the Internet via WiFi and this causes noticeable interference in the sound reproduction. So I would not recommend this speaker if you want to steam music via Bluetooth and connect to the Internet via a wireless router at the same time.
Summary: These speakers pair beautifully with the sony bluetooth a series. What a fantastic bassy sound for the size! As all true music lovers know the sony walkman provides a superior listening experience compared to ipod players both in terms of overall clarity and tonal depth. It remains a mystery to me as to why people insist on buying an inferior sounding player and willingly tie themselves as slaves to the itunes beast.
Summary: An excellent purchase to accompany my NWA828 what an improvement in sound quality over my ancient system. I just wished i'd more carefully studied Mr Palmer's comments on pricing more carefully i missed the clue! I have only had the speakers for about 1 hour as this is scribed but they are superb especially at a GOOD price it would take a very fussy buyer not to be totally delighted!
Summary: This unit is a pretty good 'at home' solution when you want to stream music from your A2DP-bluetooth enabled phone, mp3 player or laptop. Size: It's not portable - the unit's the size of a shoebox and only mains powered, so think of it sitting on a shelf or on a counter rather than packing it in your suitcase for holiday tunes...
