  • Summary: I would rate 4 stars for the speakers but because of the seller, I put this only 2 stars. I bought these speakers a month ago. I really liked them because they look fantastic, shiny and very light. The sound is great too and they have an auto button. Everything was great until the third week.

Sony Rocks!

  • Summary: I'm a huge Sony fan, their products have never field me and last forever if taken care of and cleaned. These are not top of the line speakers, but for their price rage they are great. So if you are looking for just simple speakers for your computer these are them hands down. 5 star all the way!

Great speakers!

Mark C. Merrill, Amazon

  • Summary: These speakers are exactly what I needed for a 26" TV in my bedroom. The TV is great except for the built in speakers (horrible). They sound better that a set I was using that had a subwoofer. The Auto power on and off works exactly as expected. I definitely recommend these speakers.

Very good product for the price

  • Summary: I hooked up these portable Sony speakers to my PC, and they are much better than your average PC speaker. I don't know that I'd want them as part of my stereo set up, as there isnt' enough base, but for how I'm using them and what I paid, I'm very pleased. They also look attractive.

Okay, especially for the price

  • Summary: The sound quality on this is really pretty bad. I got them because they looked like they had mini subwoofers on each one, and they do, but the subwoofers are too small to fill out the sound, so you end up with a more trebly sound than desired. As far as portability goes, they are still bulky.

not bad at all

  • Summary: For the price of these speakers, they really aren't that bad. They are not made for music audiophile. I use them out in the garage with my ipod just to get some music while I'm working on my car and they do the trick.

Not as portable as you would think

Amazon Customer, Amazon
21 March 2008
  • Summary: I bought this for my mother last year. I was hoping that she could use it on her laptop or MP3 player. It was not as portable as my parents would have liked. Not only that through my own fault of not reading all the product specifications I realized after we got the product that these HAVE to be...

Ideal small speakers

Dan, Amazon
21 March 2008
  • Summary: These are the Sony SRS-A212 speakers. I'm a bit of a speaker snob, and I was hesitant to use any small speaker for my music. I originally bought the M-Audio AV-40's and while they sounded fantastic, they were opressively large on my small computer desk.

first set broke, hoping for better on second

  • Summary: I wanted to listen to my mp3 music as I fell asleep at night, so got this set for one reason...the auto on/off feature. It was suppose to automatically turn on/off when your player turns on/off. My set does turn on, but it won't turn off.

Awesome!

geokimy, Amazon

  • Summary: These speakers are wonderful! I originally bought them to use with my computer, but I've lately been using them for my MP3 player. The sound is great, especially considering they are smaller speakers. Another nice feature is the "auto" setting so you don't have to turn on and off the speakers.
