Summary: I got these in the beginning of my first term in college and everyone's been asking me where i got them. They all seem to like the bass a lot. Overall the speakers are pretty loud and very resistant.
Summary: These speakers are pretty OK. The bass is pretty good and feels pretty solid however the speakers aren't that great. For one they are extremely light and somewhat cheap feeling but more importantly they sound pretty similar to cheaper speakers. For the money I'm satisfied, just don't expect them to be as great as everyone is saying. That being said I have recently been having a problem, not with the speakers, but with whatever is plugged into them.
Summary: If you don't want to spend a fortune and get nice sound and some cool features, this is an awesome buy. I spend a lot of time at my desk and these speakers have really helped improve my quality of life. Great sound. I highly recommend this product. I have had these speakers almost a year. Though I would review them now since I was thinking how much my study room has improved with them.
Summary: ordered it even though there were some bad ratings. Pioneer use to have a good reputation. They do not sound as good as the cheap speakers they were suppose to replace. also the secondary in put doesn't work.
Summary: my friend has this system and it sounds pretty good. For 82 dollars you really cant go wrong, although with my pair the right output sounded like it wasn't preamped. Therefore when I turned it on it sounded out of balence and there was no difference in sound between the right speaker being plugged in and it not being pluggedin.
Summary: these sounds great right out of the box, I bought these and also the Cyber Acoustics CA-3810.. the Cyber Acoustic cant even come close to these.(do not buy the Cybers) While in not a huge fan of the styling the sound quality makes up for it.
Summary: They stopped working in four months. I called Pioneer for warranty and they said they were not covered, since you bought them on Amazon. I had them direct me to the repair department and guess what they said; "they are non-repairable". Besides, you get a way better sound for half the price if you are looking for computer speakers.
Summary: The secondary audio input did not work right out of the box - exactly the same problem as somebody else mentioned here, so I ended up using the primary input located directly on the puck. And good luck returning these - because the speakers contain magnetized material, which is considered unsafe for air shipping, they cannot be shipped back to Amazon.
