Volume hard to adjust to a moderate level.

Lana Peters, Amazon
20 November 2013
  • Summary: Volume control is very tricky. The volume is overly loud and we keep ours at a 1 or 2. They tip over easily. But for small speakers in this price range they do the job on our home computer.

A bit overrated

K. Livingston, Amazon
12 January 2013
  • Summary: I decided to purchase these speakers because of the great reviews they received, but was more than a little disappointed when I got them. First of all, it took ages for my computer to recognize them, and when they did, I had to manually set them as the default speakers in the control panel. And then I was promptly blasted with music so loud I can only assume that the speakers were set at maximum volume before being shipped.

Frustrating volume control

Mel A., Amazon
23 August 2012
  • Summary: There are some neat things about these speakers. They have a volume control on the front as well as a mute button which I thought was very convenient. Also, unlike so many computer speakers out there, these only require one connection and that's through the USB plug. So, no need to worry about a separate power source or additional cables. They can play fairly loud and like other reviewers mentioned, these speakers have a very detailed sound.

Funky Vol control

Twain Mark "Jon", Amazon
18 August 2012
  • Summary: The speakers sound okay, the increase and decrease vol buttons are cheap, they sometimes don't act like it's receiving what you're doing...increasing or decreasing vol. They would have been much better with just a plain Vol control knob. My other complaint is that the Vol was set at the highest possible level when I plugged them in...real cute.
