Great sound for the £, but maybe not suitable for a heavy user

Summary: I bought a pair of these speakers in January 2012 and at the time I found they gave a good quality of sound and decent bass, although really they should do away with the bass dial on the back and have it set to maximum all the time. I am by no means a bass-junkie, but in order to get what I considered a decent sound I needed to have it turned to the maximum.
Summary: Pros: - Very clear sound - Modular cables to the sub-woofer - Excellent volume & bass controllers - The bass is very clear and deep - Good build quality - A good all rounder for movies, music & games Cons: - The system relies too much on the woofer for lows. Making the satellites sound awful with the woofer off - A slight hum when idle (drones out after noise coming from speakers) - The sound loses quality after 3/4 volume - The open-faced speakers have no form of...
Summary: I wasn't sure if I should purchase these speakers, it took me a while to decide but when I decided it was a good decision. There actually really good I plug them to my Computer and my TV when I'm playing PS3, the sound quality is really good especially in your bedroom. I'm a person that loves bass and the bass is great.
Summary: These speakers are great quality (especially for the price). I kept seeing alot of cheapish speakers with good reviews, but most had waaaay too much bass (and in my opinion it makes them sound cheap). But with this product it does have a bass variation on the sub. The only bad thing I can say about it is when I set the product up was silly- o'clock in the morning and I turned the volume waaay down (on the device attached to the unit).
Summary: Whilst writing this I am currently listening to clear bass and audio at about 30% volume, and my table is vibrating. I am going to keep this review short and concise: This item is incredible. Bass is amazing and so is everything else. The sub looks and sounds mean, and the black with red trim design looks great. Why didn't I give 5 stars? Because I have very high standards, and I wasn't happy with the individual packaging of the set I received.

Summary: Its is queit good speaker for an individual but as u see everthing has its defects but you will hardly see any deafaults in this product..and I notice that this speakers gives a lower noise when just finished with your online video chating(skype) ........(if ur speaker attached while ur call).anyways its very good product to buy for this price.
Summary: I purchased this item over xmas as i needed an overhaul on my my comp table. i had a creative 5.1 system to replace which was taking up space and hiding all the leads is a nightmare but in fairness the creative sound system will dry your hair on half volume it just doesnt look that chic. so i had to get a smaller pc desk for a different part of the room i thought i would purchase these speakers..
Excerpt: This is a superp set of desktop speakers to fit my need from gaming to films and listening to music these speakers can handle it with respectable clarity and volume range (they do go load). The built quality is also very good for its price. The highlight is the bass - simply put the best base i have seen on a set of speakers this size and price, though it is very load and overpowering so may not suit all tastes.
Pros: Great Bass and volume for a set of this size and price
Cons: At much higher volumes sound quality is pretty poor
