Summary: Brilliant little speakers. Surprisingly loud and lasted all through uni. 4 years later i still have them and are sill doing thr job although the volume toggle is a bit broken for no reason ams often have a humming sound during play back (but thats after three years of everyday use and flat parties)
Summary: Dissappointed as Phillips is usually ok. Bought this a year ago. Was an ok product for the money, despite the European plug socket. I just used a converter to plug it in. Didnt last very long. Suffered from overvoltage and mains hum. Eventually it started crackeling and losing signal. Now they wont work at all. Save your money instead of buying these. Get a good pair from Logitech.
Summary: Very Happy with my Philips Subwoofer and two smaller speaker system! For around £60 it has consistently delivered a good clear sound with a clean dynamic bass, variable of course, which I liked the best when set at about 8/10 of the fullest setting. Maximum bass, at the highest volume setting, naturally created some distortion, as you'd expect from any audio speaker.
Summary: I was extremely disappointed when i opened the box and found it had an EU 2 pin plug attached to the end of it and the worst and i mean worst excuse of a plug which you have to then cut and re-wire yourself. When i attempted to use the plug provided i started to smell burning and then i realized it doesn't keep both wires secure so i switched it off and get a better one sorted.
Summary: This item at the start seemed like a great investment, however the quality slowly began to tire. I have had this product for around 9 months and now it is completely bust. I never moved it or anything but halfway through watching a video the sound just died. Broken. To top things off it come with a 2 pin plug. Stay away from this product!
