Summary: Not excellent quality. Will not do the job of regular desktop computers but nice looking. Maybe for those who want to sit/lie in bed and not have headsets on. Not recommended for full room use.
Summary: First, great price. Second, loud enough to get the job done. Third, compatible--You can power it with batteries, or plug in a power cord to you USB drive & power it that way. Did I mention the price?
Summary: I waited about 2 months before opening the box and plugging these in. Finally did, and for the past 2-3 weeks, they were fine; sounded pretty good. So today...after only 2-3 weeks...they only have a super low volume!!! I have even had one of my agency's IT support staff troubleshoot, only to find out that they don't work now! So mad!
Summary: Because a battery-powered portable amp is a convenient thing to have around in any situation. The speakers themselves are of average quality, nothing to write home about. The amp is extremely convenient, however. Mine chills out in the bathroom, hooked up to some old computer speakers, so that I may listen to music while I shower; and it works admirably. If you need a cheap little amp, this one gets the job done.
Summary: I have 3 nearly identical iMacs in my house. On one I have the JBL duet speakers. At $20 I like them. On another I have the Logitech Z110. I got them on sale for $15, and are slightly quieter than the JBLs. But, still have good sound. But, for the last computer I just wanted a cheap set of speakers that would be a little louder than the internal speaker. Well, that just isn't happening. I should have just gotten another set of Z110s or JBLs.
