Summary: They look good, the sound is OK, but they are only a little louder and a little clearer than my laptop's built-in speakers. Considering that they're on the bulky side, they're not worth bringing with you if you want to play them somewhere other than home.

Summary: When it has came down to laptop computers, more of them do need a set of speakers specifically designed for their use, especially if you are burning to a CD or DVD for backup, or downloading your favorite movies and music.
